Transplanting Outdoors
Transplanting snap peas outdoors is best done from mid-February through mid-March. This allows the plants to establish themselves before the full force of our summer sun arrives.
Before transplanting, harden off your seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions for about a week. Start with an hour or two of shade and increase the time each day. Space transplants 3-4 inches apart, providing adequate room for growth.
