Zucchini thrives in our Pacific Northwest summers, producing abundant harvests throughout our long, mild growing season. Few crops give you such reliable production from mid-June straight through to our first frost in mid-October.
While zucchini needs warmth to germinate and grow, our 183-day growing season gives you plenty of flexibility to work around our slow spring start. The key is timing your plantings to avoid the cool, wet spring soil while still capturing all those productive summer months ahead.
Starting Seeds Indoors
